First, check to make sure you are running Office 2008 12.2.1
To do this, open Entourage and then click “Entourage” on the top menu and then click “About Entourage.” If you are not running at least Version 12.2.1 you will need to download and install the proper updates. If you are running anything lower than 12.2.0, you will first need to install the 12.2.0 Update that can be found here: http://www.rowan.edu/download/files/ Office2008-1220UpdateEN.dmg If you are running 12.2.0 you need to install the 12.2.1 Update which can be found here: http://www.rowan.edu/download/files/ Office2008-1221UpdateEN.dmg Download and Install Entourage Web Services Update Once you have gotten Office updated to 12.2.1, Download the Web Services Update here: http://www.rowan.edu/download/files/EWS-1300-EN.dmg Once downloaded, the installer will ask if you are sure you want to continue – say CONTINUE and proceed with the installation. Once the Web Services install is complete, start Entourage. The Entourage Setup Assistant should start automatically. (If it does not, please click Tools/Accounts/New) Select “Start Entourage without importing anything” and click the right arrow to continue Enter your email address and select the “My account is on an Exchange server” and click the right arrow to continue In the Account Information box enter your username and password and rowanads as the Domain Click the right arrow to continue on the “Automatic Configuration Succeeded” page Click the right arrow to continue on the “Verify and Complete Settings” page. Click “Verify My Settings” on the “Verify Settings” page and click the right arrow to continue Enter a Name for the Account and click “Finish” Click “Make Default” if asked to make Entourage your default e-mail program.
