How to Enable Bomgar Screen Sharing on macOS

The security features on macOS require additional steps to allow full use of the BeyondTrust screen-sharing software. To initiate BeyondTrust screen sharing on Mac:

  1. Click Open System Settings on the "Screen Recording" prompt. If you do not get this prompt, click the Apple icon in the top left of your computer screen and select System Settings.

  1. Click the toggle next to Remote Support Customer Client to enable access. If you are not taken directly to this pane, select Privacy & Security from left sidebar --> Remote Support Customer Client.

  1. You will see the following prompt: "'Remote Support Customer Client' will not be able to record the contents of your screen until it is quit." Click Quit & Reopen.

  1. Close System Settings.  Screen Sharing should now be enabled once the Remote Support customer Client re-launches.
