Update Your Exchange & RowanSecure Password on a Mobile Device

Every time you change your Rowan NetID password, you should also update your password for RowanSecure and your Exchange email accounts to prevent being locked out of your account. 

 

Update RowanSecure Password


iOS Device

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Settings icon



  2. Tap Wi-Fi at the top of the left column under "Settings"


     
  3. Tap the information icon (  ) next to "RowanSecure"
  4. Tap Forget This Network at the top of the screen. 



  5. Tap Forget to confirm
  6. Back on the Wi-Fi settings page, select RowanSecure.
  7. Type your new Rowan NetID password, then tap Join

 

Android

  1. Tap the Settings icon



  2. Tap Network & internet > Wi-Fi 
  3. Tap RowanSecure and then tap Forget.
  4. Back on the Wi-Fi settings page, select RowanSecure
  5. Use the following settings to log in:
    • EAP Method: PEAP
    • Phase 2 authentication: None
    • CA certificate: Depending on the type of your device, you may need to select (unspecified) or Do not validate.
    • Identity: Enter your Rowan NetID username
    • Password: Enter your Rowan NetID password 
  6. Tap Connect

 

Update Exchange Email Password

 iOS Device

  1. On the Home screen, select the Settings icon



  2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars 



  3. Select your Exchange account under "Accounts" on the right
  4. Select the Account button at the top of the screen
  5. Enter your new password

 

Android Device

  1. Press the Menu button or select the Menu icon
  2. Select Settings
  3. Select Accounts 
  4. Select entry for your Exchange account, which may say Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync or Corporate or Exchange, among other names



  5. Select Settings
  6. Select your Rowan account
  7. Under Sync Settings, choose Password
  8. Enter your updated Rowan NetID password
