Who can access the Linkedin Learning training materials?



Current Rowan employees and students who are enrolled in a credit course may access Linkedin Learning tutorials. If you do not have access and feel you should, please call the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400 or log onto support.rowan.edu.

What URL do I use to access the Linkedin Learning training materials?


To go directly to the Linkedin Learning training materials, go to go.rowan.edu/linkedinlearning

 

 

 

Do I need to create an account at Linkedin Learning?

 

No. You need only your Rowan University Network username and password to access Linkedin Learning.


 

 

Why would I choose to create a Linkedin Learning account using my name and email address?

 

If you wish to receive certificates of completion, track your history or use the Linkedin Learning app, it is important to create an account. To create an account, simply provide your first and last name.

 

 

 

How do I directly link to a course or a tutorial?

 

Log in to go.rowan.edu/linkedinlearning.  Click on the desired tutorial. In the upper-right area of the window, click on the Share button. Click on Twitter to access and copy the shareable Link.

 

 

 

Do I have to log out of Linkedin Learning when I am finished viewing the training materials?

 

Logging out is encouraged. If you forget, you will be logged out automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.

 

 

 

Can I access my training history?

 

Yes. Simply, click on “Me”  in the upper-right area of the Linkedin Learning website and select saved or in progress, and Learning History.  You should see a complete listing of your training history. Courses that you have completed will allow you to click more to view the certificate.

 

 

 

Can I obtain Certificates of Completion for completed courses?

 

Yes. When you finish a course by watching every tutorial in the course, you may receive a certificate of completion. You may print the certificate, email it, or embed your certificate in a blog post or web page. Certificates may be found by clicking on “Me” in the upper-right area of the Linkedin Learning website, then scroll down to Learning History.   Click on more to share your history on your Linkedin Profile, or download the certificate for printing.

 

 

Can I use Linkedin Learning on mobile devices?

What are some troubleshooting techniques for video playback problems?

Most Linkedin Learning issues may be resolved by trying the following techniques:

  1. Log out of Linkedin Learning, quit your browser, and then log back in.
  2. Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies.
  3. See if restarting your computer solves the problem.
  4. Try removing browser add-ons. Make sure your operating system has all its important updates.
  5. Try using a different web browser like Chrome or Firefox.
