MatLab: Download and Install Software

Students, faculty and staff may now access the Rowan University MATLAB portal to download MATLAB, get free training, contact support and discover additional resources.

To access the portal, you'll need to authenticate with your Rowan NetID and create a Mathworks account. Once your account is created, you may download and install MatLab.

 Create a MathWorks Account

1. Open a web browser and navigate to: https://www.mathworks.com/academia/tah-portal/rowan-university-862433.html
2. Click on the Sign in to Get Started button.
   
   
   
   
3. Enter your Rowan NetID and verify through Duo, if prompted.
4. Click the Create button.
   
   
   
   
5. The email address and first and last name fields should be pre-filled with your information.
6. Create a password and choose your appropriate role and department.
7. Click the checkbox next "I accept the Online Services Agreement."
8. When you are finished click the Create button.
   
   
   
   
9. MatLab will send you an account confirmation email for your records. 
   
   
   
   

Download and Install Software

1. After creating your MathWorks account you will be directed to the download page.
2. To download the current version of MatLab, click the download button.
   
   
   
   
3. Next, select the OS version of MatLab you need.
   
   
   
   
4. MatLab should begin to download.
5. Please note that during the installation process, you will be prompted to sign in with your account, select your license and choose the products you want installed.
