Zoom Error 1132
Some Zoom users have reported getting error code 1132 when they try to sign in to their Zoom account and join a meeting. This error mostly effects Windows computers.
Zoom suggests a few potential remedies:
- Check your Internet connection. Run a speed test or try to join a test meeting using the information in the linked article.
- Power cycle your devices
- Turn off your device and unplug your modem and router.
- Wait for at least 1 minute.
- Plug your modem back in, and wait for it to fully connect.
- Do the same with your router.
- Turn on your device and launch the Zoom app.
- Check if the error still exists.
- Check for Available Zoom App Updates
There may be available updates for your Zoom app that can help you fix the error.
- Update the Windows Zoom client:
- Open the Zoom app
- Click your profile pic in the upper right
- Select "Check for Updates"
- Once updated, launch your Zoom app and check to see if you still get the error.
- Update the Windows Zoom client:
- Reinstall the Zoom App
- Download the latest Zoom client.
- Open the Control Panel.
- Click Programs, and select Uninstall a program.
- Look for Zoom and click Uninstall.
- Once the uninstall is complete, reinstall the Zoom app.
- Once installed, launch your Zoom app and check to see if you still get the error.
- Join in a Browser
You can bypass any potential operating system complications by opening the Zoom meeting in your browser.
- Click your meeting link.
- When your browser launches, click "join from your browser" to launch the meeting in your browser.
- You may be prompted to sign in. If so, select Sign in with SSO and login using your Rowan network username and password.
- Go into your Windows Firewall setting and changing the protocol for TCP 6 and UDP 17 and changing them to ANY.
- Create a new Windows account
As a last resort, you can create a new Windows user account to start fresh.
Once the account has been created, download and install the latest Zoom client. Once the Zoom client is installed, try accessing your meeting again. - If none of these potential solutions work, submit a ticket to Zoom at https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/requests/new
