How to Forward Calls from Your Cisco Desk Phone

If you are off-campus, you can put in a request to have your Rowan phone number forwarded for you.

Please follow these instructions if you need to forward telephone calls from your Cisco phone.

  1. Depending on the model phone you are using, press the Fwd All or CFwdALL soft key on your phone when it is not in use. It will look something like this:

    OR

  2. Enter the phone number you would like to forward calls to exactly as you would dial it from your phone. (For more information, review our dialing instructions.)
    • To forward calls directly to voicemail, press the voicemail button on the phone instead of entering a phone number.
    • Some phones may have a soft key labeled DND (Do Not Disturb). Press that soft key to set your phone to forward calls directly to voicemail.

  3. To verify that your calls are forwarded, look for the “Forward All” icon on your phone's display, and the forwarding information should be there.
    • Your Forwarding settings can also be tested by calling your phone number from another desk phone or a mobile phone.

  4. To cancel call forwarding, press the Fwd Off or CFwdALL soft key depending on the model phone you are using.

NOTE: If you do not have a Fwd All or CFwdALL soft key on your phone, or if you are unable to forward calls, please contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400, or log in to the IRT Support Portal at support.rowan.edu and click Get Help.

If you are off-campus, you can put in a request to have your Rowan phone number forwarded for you.

How to Forward Calls from Webex

  1. Go to your profile picture, select Settings (Windows) or Preferences (Mac), and then select Calling
  2. Under Call Forward section select the plus icon and enter the phone number you would like to forward calls to exactly as you would dial it from your phone. (For more information, review our dialing instructions.)
  3.  Forwarding can then be enabled in one of two ways:
    1. Change the dropdown option under Call Forward from Do Not Forward Calls to the number you added in step 2 and then click on Save.
    2. After you've turned on call forwarding, you can go to in the footer of your app and select where to forward your phone calls. From there, you can forward calls to your voicemail or a number you've set before.

NOTEPhone and forwarding settings  turns green and stays that way until you change the setting back to Do Not Forward Calls.
