Information Resources & Technology has updated our Rowan VPN service to Palo Alto GlobalProtect to provide you with more reliable and secure access to restricted resources when you are off campus. You must switch to GlobalProtect as soon as possible, as AnyConnect access will end on Monday, Sept. 22.

The instructions below reference AnyConnect for legacy support. If you are setting up VPN access for the first time or reinstalling, please use GlobalProtect.

To log in to the Rowan VPN:

  1. Open the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client on your computer.

  2. Enter vpn.rowan.edu in the field, and click Connect



  3. You will now be prompted to log in. Log in with your Rowan NetID.



  4. Complete Duo authentication.



  5. You will next get a window asking you to agree to abide by the Rowan University Acceptable Use Policy. Click Accept.
