How Do I Access My Voicemail from my Rowan phone?
- Press the "voicemail" button on your phone (Cisco IP 7800 and 8800 Series phones) or dial 856-256-5000 and enter your pin followed by # .
- If it's your first time accessing the system, enter the pin provided to you by your voicemail administrator and you will be prompted to change it to your own pin, record your name and your greeting.
- Enter your ID (10-digit phone number). Press #.
- Enter the PIN provided. Press #.
- Record your name for the standardized greeting. Press #.
- Record a personalized greeting or keep the standard system-generated greeting. Press #.
- Enter a new PIN (Security Code). Press #. Then you will be prompted to confirm that new PIN again.
When choosing a new PIN, keep in mind that:
- The minimum PIN length is 4 digits
- It cannot contain three of the same digits together (for example, 9990)
- It cannot contain consecutive digits (for example, 1234 or 4321)
- It cannot be the same as the personal extension that is assigned to you
After successfully changing the PIN, the system will inform you that you have completed your voicemail box setup.
Some commands from the Messages Menu are
- Press 1 to listen to new messages
- Press 2 to save a message
- Press 3 to delete a message
- Dial 856-256-5000
- Enter your 10-digit Rowan University phone number, such as 856-256-4000. Press #
- Enter your PIN. Press #.
- Press 1 to listen to new messages
- Press 2 to save a message
- Press 3 to delete a message
