Employees connecting iOS/Apple devices to RowanSecure
Solution
- From the home screen, click the Settings icon.
- Go to your Wi-Fi settings and select RowanSecure. Visit id.rowan.edu if you do not know your Network username and password.
- You should be asked to accept a certificate. Click Accept.
- Open Safari and attempt to load any website. Note: You must use Safari. This will not work in any other browser.)
- You should be directed to the ClearPass registration page. Enter your Network username and password and click Log In.
- You should be prompted to install a profile. Click Install.
- If you are prompted with an "Unverified Profile" screen, click Install Now.
- If you are promoted with a "Warning" screen, click Install.
- Your iPhone/iPad should now be able to connect to the RowanSecure wireless network.
Notes
- Students generally do not need to register iOS/Apple devices with ClearPass to connect to RowanSecure; they can select RowanSecure and enter their Network username and password. Students who have been paid by the University as an employee, including part-time and summer workers, and students with an "employee role" will need to register their iOS/Apple devices with ClearPass.
