How to Forward Calls from Your Cisco Desk Phone

If you are off-campus, you can put in a request to have your Rowan phone number forwarded for you.

Please follow these instructions if you need to forward telephone calls from your Cisco phone.

  1. Depending on the model phone you are using, press the Fwd All or CFwdALL soft key on your phone when it is not in use. It will look something like this:

    OR

  2. Enter the phone number you would like to forward calls to exactly as you would dial it from your phone.  For more information see dialing instructions.
    • To forward calls directly to voicemail, press the voicemail button on the phone instead of entering a phone number.
    • Some phones may have a soft key labeled DND (Do Not Disturb). Press that soft key to set your phone to forward calls directly to voicemail.

  3. To verify that your calls are forwarded, look for the “Forward All” icon on your phone's display, and the forwarding information should be there.
    • Your Forwarding settings can also be tested by calling your phone number from another desk phone or a mobile phone.

  4. To cancel call forwarding, press the Fwd Off or CFwdALL soft key depending on the model phone you are using.

If you are off-campus, you can put in a request to have your Rowan phone number forwarded for you.

NOTE: If you do not have a Fwd All or CFwdALL soft key on your phone, or if you are unable to forward calls, please contact the Technology Support Center at 856-256-4400, or log in to the IRT Support Portal at support.rowan.edu and click Get Help.
