Issue

Connecting Linux computer to Rowan Network 

Context

Students and employees with Linux computers

Solution

To connect to wireless on campus, select RowanSecure and log in with your Network username and password. 

For wired connections, use the settings included in the image below. You will also need the attached CA certificate for OnGuard, which should be saved in your home directory. 

When registering, only the network interface touching ClearPass is recorded. Linux machines do not download a scanning client and cannot present inactive interfaces.
