RowanWiFi is the easiest way to get your personal device online on campus. To connect to RowanWiFi:

RowanSecure for Internal Network Resources

If you require access to internal Rowan Network resources on a personal computer, you'll need to connect to RowanSecure by following the instructions below. These steps can only be completed on campus. Note: If your computer is connected via ethernet, you can skip to step four.

  1. Click the wireless icon in the system tray.

  2. Click RowanSecure.
  3. Click Connect
  4. Navigate to any webpage in a browser, and you will be redirected to the ClearPass OnGuard Registration page.

  5. Click on the link to download the Windows OnGuard Agent
  6. Launch the downloaded file.
  7. Select your language and click OK

  8. Click Next to start the OnGuard agent installation.

  9. Click the checkbox to accept the terms of the license agreement and then click Install

    1. If your anti-virus software attempts to block the installation of ClearPass OnGuard, you will need to unblock the file. For example, if Trend Micro blocks ClearPass, click More details... and then click Unblock in the pop-up window.

    2. Then launch ClearPass by clicking on the ClearPass OnGuard icon on your desktop.

  10. You will be prompted to log in to ClearPass OnGuard. Enter your Rowan NetID.

  11. A scan will run to verify that your computer meets certain security requirements. You must have an up-to-date anti-virus program installed on your computer and automatic updates turned on to meet those requirements. You can right-click on the agent icon then click Restore to see the progress of the scan.

  12. When the agent is done scanning, you can close ClearPass OnGuard and connect to the Rowan Network.
