When registering your gaming console, smart home device or other entertainment device on rowan.edu/device in order to connect it to the Rowan network you will need your device's MAC address.
Instructions for finding the MAC address for some of the most common entertainment devices at Rowan University are provided in the chart below.
Once you have registered your device, connect it to the new, open RowanWiFi wireless network or the wired network. Check your device's documentation for help with connecting to the internet.

- Select "System"
- Then go to "About"
- Toggle down to Network
- Look for the MAC Address (Wi-Fi)

- Download the Amazon Alexa app to a phone or computer
- Sign in with your Amazon Account
- From that phone or computer, connect to the wireless network transmitted by the Echo device.
- The wireless MAC address for Echo can be found at the bottom of the Echo Setup screen in the Alexa app.

- Click the Wii button at the bottom of the start screen.
- Click Wii Settings.
- Go to the Next Set of settings by selecting the arrow on the right.
- Click Internet.
- Select Console information.
- The MAC Address will then come up on the next page.
