Voicemail PIN Reset Instructions

There are two methods of resetting your voicemail PIN:

  1. Update via voicemail system
  2. Update via website

Update PIN via voicemail system

If you know your voicemail PIN you can reset using this method.  If you do not know your PIN, please refer to Update PIN via Website

  1. Log into the voicemail system
    1. Access via Rowan Phone
    2. Access via non-Rowan phone (such as mobile phone)
  2. Press 4 (Setup Options)
  3. Press 3 (Preferences)
  4. Press 1 (Change PIN)
  5. Follow the prompts to change your PIN

Update PIN via website

1. Go to voicemailpin.rowan.edu

a. To reset your voicemail pin from off campus you will need to be on the VPN or use the Employee Desktop or Academic Desktop in Citrix. 

2. Log in with your Rowan NetID username and password

If you are redirected to a webpage that states User Record Not Found, then there is no phone number associated with your Rowan NetID. If you believe this is a mistake, please contact the Technology Support Center at support@rowan.edu or call 856-256-4400.

3. Enter your 10-digit Rowan University personal phone number in the Phone Number box.

4. Enter your new voicemail pin and confirm this pin in the Voicemail PIN boxes.

5. Click Submit.

NOTES:

If you see a red banner that says " Error! Credential does not meet the authentication rule complexity criteria", then please revisit step 3 and choose a new PIN that meets the requirements listed next to the boxes.

If you see a red banner that says " Error! The inputted phone number does match the one on record. Please try again", please make sure that you are entering your personal Rowan phone number.
