Your Rowan NetID password expires every 180 days and must be updated before it expires. You will receive several emails before your Rowan NetID password expires. These email are sent 21, 14, 7, 4, 3, 2 and 1 day(s) before your password expires.
To reset your Rowan NetID password before it expires:
- Go to netid.rowan.edu, log in with your Rowan NetID and verify your identity through Duo two-factor authentication.
TIP: If you are having trouble logging in, try clearing your cache or using a private/different browser. If you are still unable to log in, please call 856-256-4400 for help.
- In the left-hand navigation menu, click Update Password
- Enter and confirm a new password, select the check box acknowledging the University's Acceptable Use Policy and click Update Password
Once you've successfully changed your password, make sure to update your stored password on your mobile for email and wireless. For help, see these articles:

To reset your Rowan NetID password after it expires:
- Go to netid.rowan.edu and click the Other Login button

NOTE: If you do not have a social security number on file with Rowan University, please enter your Banner ID number. - You'll be prompted to verify whether you have one of your Duo devices available. Click Yes.
- Verify your identity with Duo. Click Send Me a Push.
- In the left-hand navigation menu, click Update Password
- Enter and confirm a new password, select the check box acknowledging the University's Acceptable Use Policy and click Update Password

NOTE: For EMR users, if you update your Rowan NetID password at netid.rowan.edu, it will take 15 minutes for your new Rowan NetID password to update True North.
