Canvas: Enabling Zoom and Webex

Enabling Zoom and Webex in Canvas

When you login to Canvas at canvas.rowan.edu, click Courses in the left sidebar and open a course.  You should see Zoom and Cisco Webex in the navigation menu.

If you do not see Zoom and/or Cisco Webex in your course navigation menu, you will need to enable them.

1. From within your course, select Settings.
   
   
   
   
2. On the "Settings" page, click the Navigation tab.
   
   
   
   
3. Scroll down to view the items that are set to be hidden.
4. Click the 3 dots to the right of Zoom and/or Cisco Webex if they are in the list, and choose Enable.
   
   
   
   
5. Once both are enabled, click Save.
6. Scroll up to view the enabled navigation items and move Zoom and/or Cisco Webex (which should be located at the bottom of the list if they were just enabled) to the top of the list under "Home" by clicking and dragging them or clicking the 3 dots on the right and selecting "Move." 
   
   
   
   
7. Move them up the list and "After..." the "Home" item.
   
   
   
   
8. Zoom and Cisco Webex should now be at the top of the enabled navigation items list under "Home."
   
   
   
   
9. Scroll down and click Save
10. Zoom and Cisco Webex should now be at the top of your Courses menu under the "Home" link.
