1299 views

When right-clicking a file in Windows, if the option to choose "Compressed (zipped) folder" is missing under the "Send to" menu, please follow the instructions below.

To resolve this:

  1. Press WinKey + R to open the Run dialog box.

  2. Type the following command "shell:sendto"and click "OK" to open the "Send To" folder in your user profile.

  3. Check to see if the "Compressed (zipped) Folder.ZFSendToTarget" file exists.

  4. If the file is missing, browse to: C:\Users\Default User\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo and copy the file.

  5. Paste the "Compressed (zipped) Folder.ZFSendToTarget" file into the initial folder that was opened when you ran the "shell:sendto" command.
