To register for services through the Rowan University Office of Accessibility Services, first complete the Student Application by following the steps below.

  1. Go to the Office of Accessibility Services website.
  2. Select Register for Services on the left panel.



  3. Log in with your Rowan NetID, and complete Duo two-factor authentication, if prompted.
  4. Select Start New Application.

  5. Complete the online student application. The fields with red asterisks(*) are required. 
    1. Application, Personal, and Contact Information

      Student application form

      • Start term: The semester you would like to start your services
      • Expected Graduation Term
      • First Name and Last Name
      • Birth Date
      • Primary Phone Number

    2. Disability Information
      • Select your Primary Disability from the dropdown. Note: If you have multiple disabilities, select one as your primary. There is no hierarchy; these selections do not impact your accommodations.

      • If applicable, select your Secondary Disabilities.

  6. Select Create Application Draft.

  7.  In the text box, answer the question "Briefly describe the accommodations that you believe are necessary."

  8.  Select Save and Upload Documentation. 
  9. Read the documentation guidelines. If you have documentation, enter the file title, then select Choose File to upload the file. Note: You do not need to upload documents to submit the application, but it will expedite the process.

  10.  If you chose a file, select Upload File. If you do not have documentation at the moment, select Proceed to Final Review.

  11. If you uploaded a file, the application will be saved. Scroll down to see the uploaded document and upload another if needed.

  12. If you chose another file, select Upload File. If you do not have documentation at the moment, select Proceed to Final Review.

  13. You can review each section of the application by selecting the links at the top of the screen.

  14. Scroll down and select Submit Application.

  15.  You will see a success notification at the top of the screen. You will also receive an email that your application has been received. 

    Email confirmation from the Office of Accessibility Services indicating that the student application has been received.
