When you no longer want to see messages from someone, you can block a sender.
Please see below for instruction on blocking senders in Outlook Web App, Outlook for Windows, Outlook for Mac or Gmail.
Block a sender in Outlook Web App
Right-click a message from the sender you want to block, and then click Mark as junk.
Block a sender in Outlook for Windows
Right-click a message from the sender you want to block, and then click Junk > Block Sender.
Block a sender in Outlook for Mac
Right-click a message from the sender you want to block, and then click Junk Mail > Block Sender.
Block senders from Other Countries/Languages
- Right-click a message from the sender you want to block, and then click Junk > Junk E-mail Options
- Click on International
- Click on Blocked Top-Level Domain List and pick only the countries that you do not want to receive junk mail from. Be careful not to pick countries where you regularly interact with or communicate with individuals from e.g. US (United States)
- Click on Blocked Encodings List and select the character encodings for languages you do not want to receive junk mail from. Be careful not to pick countries where you regularly interact with or communicate with individuals from e.g. US-ASCII
