Exchange: Create Your Outlook Profile

If you have installed Outlook on a personal Windows or Mac computer, you will need to manually create your Outlook profile or account.

 

In Windows:

  1. Go to Start | Control Panel or search for "Control Panel"



  2. Double click the Mail icon (Located under "User Accounts" in the non-classic Control Panel)

      

  3. Select "Show profiles"



  4. Click "Add" and then Name your profile



  5. Enter your Name, Email Address and Password and then click "Next"



  6. Once your account has been successfully configured, click Finish
  7. At the bottom of the Mail screen, choose your new profile from the drop down menu and select Always use this profile and then click OK


 

You should now be able to launch Outlook and login. Please login using your entire email address as your username.

 

On a Mac:

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click Tools > Accounts



  3. In the bottom left, click the + symbol and then select "New Account"



  4. Enter your Email Address and click Continue



  5. Enter the following information:
    1. Method: Username and Password
    2. Email Address: Your Rowan email address
    3. Domain\username: rowanads\username
    4. Password: Your rowan network password
    5. Server: exchange.rowan.edu



  6. Click "Add Account"
  7. Close the Accounts window and Outlook should begin populating your mail.
