RowanSecure Network

Required only for:

If you require access to internal Rowan Network resources on a personal computer or are a student with a wired computer,  you'll need to install antivirus software on your computer (visit the IRT website for a list of recommended antivirus software programs) and then follow the instructions below when you are on campus.

  1. Plug your computer into a wired connection, or connect it to the RowanSecure wireless network, and log in when prompted with your Rowan NetID and password.
  2. Navigate to any webpage in your web browser, and you will be automatically redirected to the ClearPass OnGuard Registration page.

    1. Click the Mac OnGuard Agent link to download the installer.

  3. Launch the downloaded package.

  4. Click Continue.

  5.  Click Continue.

  6. Click Continue

  7. Click Agree

  8. Click Install

  9. Click Close

  10. You will now be prompted to log in to the ClearPass OnGuard agent. Enter your Rowan NetID and password.

  11. ClearPass OnGuard will then authenticate and perform a scan to ensure your computer meets certain security requirements, including supported, up-to-date anti-virus software.

  12. You should then be connected to the RowanSecure wired or wireless network.
