Need to print a final paper or a flyer for an upcoming event? Rowan University students and employees may print directly from an on-campus computer lab or send a print job from your own computer or mobile device, even while off campus.
All you need to pick up your print jobs — no matter how you send them — is your RowanCard. Swipe your RowanCard at one of the University's printing kiosks, pick up your print job and you're done!

At the beginning of each academic year, students receive $40 for printing on their RowanCard for printing. This is called your Uniprint account. Swipe your RowanCard at a printing kiosk, and the cost of the print job is automatically deducted.
How can I check my Uniprint account balance or transaction history?
Any student can check their balance at any of the printing kiosks around campus or in the RowanCard eAccounts portal.
How do I add money to my printing account?
You can add more money to your Uniprint account by visiting the RowanCard eAccounts portal.
If you use your RowanCard to print, but don't have money left in your Uniprint account, the cost of the print job will be deducted from your overall RowanCard balance.
Can I put money into another user's account?
No.
What happens to my balance at the end of each semester?
Any funds above your initial allocation in your Uniprint account will be carried forward to the next semester. Balances do not carry over to the next academic year.
When I graduate or transfer, can I get a refund from my Uniprint account?
No. Uniprint funds are "use it or lose it" funds. We encourage every user to "print like crazy" in order to use up any funds you may have in your Uniprint account before you graduate or transfer to another school.
I noticed extra money in my Uniprint account. Where did it come from?
Certain departments, programs and colleges have paid for additional funds to be placed into their students' Uniprint accounts. In most cases, these funds are "use it or lose it" and are non-accumulating.
Refunds will be handled on a case by case basis, but generally, there are no refunds — only reprints.
Please see any on-duty lab monitor to reprint a document that has failed in some way. Users should double-check that the print job looks the way they want it to before they print. Reprints will not be provided for user-induced formatting issues. However, if the printer malfunctions (low toner, streaks in a printout, blank pages, etc.), a reprint will be provided as long as a monitor or other support member is made aware within 30 minutes of sending the failed job. If the failure is valid, we will refund any charges the user incurs.
Email ruprint@rowan.edu for any refunds or issues.
Is color laser printing available?
Yes, color laser printing is available at the printing kiosk outside the Technology Assistance Center in Memorial Hall and in the Westby printing lab.
Can I print from one lab and pick it up in another?
Yes. All of the open labs that have a printing kiosk are connected. You may pick up your job in any lab within two hours of printing.
We strongly request that you only use our paper in the printers to avoid damage to the printers. We do not issue reprints for printing problems when users opt to use their own paper instead of ours. Using your own paper is done at your own risk.
Can I print on transparencies?
No. All transparencies are banned due to the potential for harm to the printer fuser unit. Transparency printing can be done at the Duplicating Center.
Can I print from my personal computer or mobile device?
Yes. The Rowan PrintAnywhere system gives students the flexibility to send a print job from their computer or mobile device no matter where they are, and then pick up that print job on campus up to 48 hours later.
Students can download the Pharos Print application on their Android or iOS mobile device to use the Rowan PrintAnywhere system.
When prompted, enter the following information:
Server: mobileprint.rowan.edu
Port: 443

What if the network goes down?
As with any networked printer, when the network goes down all printing services stop on that printer until the network comes back online. However, you can print the jobs you sent to a given printer on any other open lab printer.
