Rowan University provides TV services in residence halls through Apogee's Stream2 service. You can stream Stream2 on your computer or mobile device. You can also access it via legacy coaxial cable connections in certain residence halls.

Streaming TV

After registering for an account with your Rowan University email address on MyCampusVideo.com, you can stream on your computer by accessing the Stream2 Webplayer and following the steps to log in. For more help, see Stream2’s instructions accessing Stream2 via the web.

You can also access Stream2 via Stream2 apps.

Cable TV

Television is available via legacy coaxial cable connections in Holly Pointe Commons, EPA, Rowan Boulevard, Townhouses and Whitney. Students in all other residence halls must use the streaming service to access television in their room. 

Connect Your TV

To connect your television via coaxial cable, you will need the following:

Then take the following steps:

1. Find the cable television connection in your room. It will be in a white or stainless steel faceplate. There may be old, inactive cable jacks in the room too. Please don't try to use them.
2. Connect one side of your coaxial cable to the connection on the wall.
3. Connect the other side of the coaxial cable to the back of your television.
4. Turn your television on.
5. Enter the television menu using the menu button on your remote.
6. In the settings, select "cable" rather than "antenna" or "terrestrial."
7. Check to see if there is a setting for digital vs. analog. If there is, make sure it is set to digital. (This setting may also be called QAM).
8. Once this is done, have your TV automatically scan for channels.

Note: If you do not know how to accomplish any of these steps, please refer to your owner's manual. If you do not have one, check the model number of your TV (usually located on a sticker in the back) and find the appropriate manual.

IF THESE STEPS DO NOT WORK: You may not have a QAM tuner in your TV. Please call the manufacturer to verify that your TV model does indeed have a QAM tuner and not just an antenna tuner.
