Cisco IP Telephones: Dialing Instructions

To reach a non-Rowan number from a Rowan number:

Dial 9 + area code + seven-digit number of the person you are trying to reach. You do not need to dial a 1 after dialing 9 to reach an outside line.

For example, to call the Office of the Governor, dial 9 + 609 + 292-6000.

To reach a Rowan number on the same campus:

Dial the last 5 digits of the person's 10 digit number

For example, to call 856-256-4000 from the Glassboro campus, dial 6-4000.

To reach a Rowan number on a different campus:

Dial the 10-digit number of the person you are trying to reach. You do not need to dial a 9 first to reach any Rowan campus or office.

For example, to call CMSRU from Glassboro, dial 856-361-2800.

To reach an internal-only Rowan number on a different campus:

Dial the 10-digit extension as follows:

Glassboro: 555-555-XXXX

Stratford: 555-556-XXXX

Camden: 555-557-XXXX

To reach an internal-only Rowan number from a non-Rowan phone:

1. Dial 856-256-4500
2. Press 1
3. Enter the last five-digits of the person's extension followed by the # sign
