Software: Obtain Software from OnTheHub

OnTheHub provides students, faculty and staff with discounted and free software to use on their personal devices.

Below are instructions on how to navigate and download software from the Varsity Buys website.

1. Go to Rowan's OnTheHub website. 
   
2. If this is your first time obtaining software through OnTheHub, click the Register button in the top right corner of the page. If you have an account, click Sign In, log in with your username and password and skip to step 9.
   
   
   
   
3. Click the Register button.
   
   
   
   
4. Type your Rowan email address in the area provided and click Continue.
   
   
   
   
5. Enter the required information, including first name, last name, email address and a password for your new VarsityBuys account. Be sure to select a group at the bottom of which you are a member and enter the security verification code. Once all the required fields are filled, click Register.
   
   
   
   
6. Additional information will be asked for, such as the department for field of study, what operating system you use the most and how you heard about the website. Fill out the information required and click Save.
   
   
   
   
7. You'll need to verify your account by clicking a link in an email the website sent to the address you registered with. Open your email account and click the verification link.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. After clicking the link, a page will appear indicating your account has been verified. You can now continue with your free order/purchase.
   
   
   
   
9. Select whether you are a student or faculty/staff and choose Microsoft or More Software to see the various software options for download.
   
   
   
   
10. For example, under the Students tab for Microsoft, click on Windows 10.
    
    
    
    
11. Click the Add to Cart button to the right.
    
    
    
    
12. Once added to the cart, view your cart by clicking on the Shopping Cart icon in the top right corner.
    
    
    
    
13. Click Check Out.
    
    
    
    
14. Accept the User Acceptance Form by filling in your username and signature, which is your full name typed, and click Accept.
    
    
    
    
    
15. Enter the required fields for your first name, last name and your Rowan email and click Proceed With Order.
    
    
    
    
16. The Order Summary page will provide the Product Key for the software (if needed) along with the software. Click the Get Started button to obtain the software along with instructions for downloading and installing (if available).
