Overview
A travel request can be sent back to you if an error is found. You will receive an email when your request is returned for correction. The email will include a comment explaining why the request was returned. Review the comment and make the necessary changes within Concur.
Note: If a request is sent back to the traveler, it will go through the entire approval workflow again.

Before completing this task, you will need to:
- Complete your Profile in Concur
- Request Approvers and Expense Approvers
- Know your FOAPAL(s)
- Gather Travel Estimates

Solution
Correct and Resubmit a Returned Request
- Select the link in the Request Status Change email.
- From the Concur home page, select Home and then select Requests.
- You will see all of your active Requests. The status of tile for the Request that has been sent back be "Returned." Select the tile for the Request you need to correct.
- Your Request will appear. Select View Timeline to review the Request Timeline and the comment for correction.
- Make the necessary changes to ensure your Request will be approved. If you are unsure how to make the changes, review the "Creating a New Request for Overnight Travel" KB Article.
- Once the corrections are made, select Submit Request at the top right corner of the screen.
- A confirmation agreement will appear, read the agreement, and select Accept & Submit.
- On the Active Request Page, you will see the status of the Report has changed to "Submitted & Pending Approval."
