To register for services through the Rowan University Office of Disability Resources, first complete the Student Application by following the steps below.

  1. Go to the Disability Resources website
  2. Click the Register for Services button on the left panel



  3. Log in with your Rowan Network username and password, and complete Duo two-factor authentication, if prompted.



  4. Complete the online student application by filling out the following information:
    1. Personal and Contact Information
      1. Start term: The semester you would like to start your services
      2. First Name and last name
      3. Student ID is your Banner ID (9 numbers starting with the number 9)
      4. Your pronouns
      5. Rowan email address



    2. Additional Information
      1. Select your Primary Disability from the dropdown list
      2. Then, if applicable, select your Secondary Disability(ies) from the checkbox. You can choose all that apply from the checkboxes.



      3. Add any other disabilities or notes.
      4. Check any affiliations.
      5. Add additional notes.



    3. Prior Accommodations
      1. Select from the list any previous accommodations received at a prior institution.



      2. If your previous accommodation is not listed above, please include it in your answer to "Briefly describe the accommodations that you believe are necessary."



  5. Click Submit Application



  6. You will receive an email that your student application was received. Click the Upload Documents link in the email to submit additional documents, like medical records or test results.



  7. The "Submitting Documentation" form will open. Please read the additional instructions including descriptions of required documentation.



    NOTE: If you are scanning your document, scan it between 150 – 300 dpi for resolution. The maximum allowable file size is 20 MB per upload. List of Acceptable File Formats: Rich Text File (RTF), Text File (TXT), Microsoft Word (DOC or DOCX), Microsoft Excel (XLS or XLSX), Microsoft PowerPoint (PPT or PPTX - Not Recommended Due to Size), PDF Document (Scan with 300 DPI or less), Zip File (Combine Multiple Files Into One File Before Uploading), Image (PNG, JPEG, or JPG).

  8. Type in the name of the file.
  9. Click the Choose File button



  10. Find the file on your computer and click Open



  11. Click Upload Documentation to send the file



  12. You will receive a notification at the top of the page that the file was successfully uploaded. You can then proceed in uploading additional files, if needed.



  13. You will also receive an email confirmation for each file that you upload.



  14. When you are finished uploading documents, click Log Out from the left side panel
